A little about me almost too little
Motorcyclist
I was not given permission to have a motorcycle when I lived with my parents. The same year I moved out was the same year I bought my first bike. I have had three so far; my last bike was a 2014 Triumph Street Triple R, and I loved it. Though, I am currently in between bikes and shopping around; I never plan to give up riding until I am physically unable to ride. It is either calming or exhilarating depending on how hard I want to twist the throttle, and knowing I can always improve keeps me riding.
Software Developer
I have learned and improved so much, and every time I feel like I have ’learned’ something and have a firm grasp... I discover something new and exciting right beside it. The exhilaration of tinkering, googling, opening 15-38 tabs, silently staring at the wall, and then finally getting it to work is addicting. I am lucky to have worked with knowledgeable teams and have very experienced friends to always provide a normal amount of why _insert_technology_ is stupid and wrong. I can only get better, and I'm excited for the next new project and people I get to work with.
PC Gamer
I have been playing video games since I was around 6 when my neighbor let me play Donkey Kong on his GameBoy. It took some years for me to realize that PC was the CORRECT platform for the games I enjoyed playing, online first-person shooters. I was hooked from knowing that I was besting other real people wanting to make me fail. I spent countless hours practicing, watching old games to see why I lost, and creating short videos to share. I wasn’t the best, but I was far from the worst. I was most competitive in Blizzard’s Overwatch. Though Blizzard has made some questionable decisions, I still enjoy playing Overwatch with all the friends I have made over the years.
